Vosne Romanée, Les Chaumes, 1er Cru, 2017

Dense and savoury Vosne but with enough vitality to prolong the finish and keep the fruit fresh. Salt-infused red berry and cool earth characteristics. On the more corpulent, powerful side of Vosne, it has plenty of meat on its bones. One of the lower lying Vosne Premiers Crus, Chaumes produces very broad, ripe, plump wines.
