With its intensity, generosity and suave fruit, there is plenty to like about this already, but there is a sense that something more is being held in reserve - a trait that the great wines have. Long, caressing and seductive. Complex notes of hedgerow berry, cherry, cherry stone and strawberries with an indulgent touch of fruit liqueur on the finish. A very fine Vosne vineyard with a relatively high clay content producing, satisfying, round silky wines of great persistance.
