Nuits-St-Georges, Aux Boudots, 1er Cru, 2012

Very different to the Pruliers; less mineral and vital, more silky broad and generous; rich but clear dark fruit flavours of blackberry, blueberry and cherry. Sumptuous and corpulent. Boudots, well situated next to Vosne-Romanée Malconsorts, produces some of the bigger, richer and broader style of Nuits whilst keeping a silky texture.
