A Gevrey of great aromatic charm, with wild raspberry, peach pit, cherry stone and plum notes Lovely freshness here, expressive fruit and a luminous quality. This is a decorous Gevrey, with a fluidity and weave to it and a cleansing mineral finish. A blend of 10 village parcels, fermented with 25% whole bunches and aged in 40% new oak of light toast.

Well defined and poised, the 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Dix Climats has an intense nose of lifted red fruit, a little more finessed than I found last year. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent tannins, creamy in texture and sweetly candied toward the finish. Fine.
