A rich but resplendent crimson red colour offers a sign of things to come. The palate immediately bursts into life with brilliant, bright red fruit flavours of raspberry and strawberry; this is rich yet fresh and detailed. The tannins are sensual and satin-textured, a stony mineral edge counteracts the fabulous fruit sweetness and there is stunning tension, focus and poise. One of the wines of the vintage.
