A real Charmer, this is crammed with ripe sloe, plum, prune and wild forest berry flavours, generous warm glycerol touches, underlayed by a firm tannic structure.

Good full red. Deep, ripe, rather brooding aroma of black raspberry. Big, round and broad, with some minerality giving the dark fruit flavors much more freshness than the Beaux-Bruns. Finishes with a broad dusting of tannins and subtle length. Full for 2006, but I don't find the floral quality this displayed from barrel.
