    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Particularly small grapes and bunches have meant a very small production of Fuees in 2005, unfortunately. Intense dark red colour, deeply concentrated and brooding, linear and energetic, stunning length, presence and complexity, crunchy vital black forest berry fruits, beautifully poised, very much a long haul wine.

    Critic Reviews

    93+/100
    Stephen Tanzer,
    Vinous
Subdued aromas of plum, chocolate, violet and crushed rock, with a slightly liqueur-like quality. Dense, sappy, superconcentrated and sweet; a remarkably solid wine with terrific chewy depth. The finish stains the palate with powerful tannins and minerality, but the fruit and tannins will need at a good 10 years to come into harmony. There were just four barrels of this juice, as opposed to a typical five and a half, due to the tiny, thick-skinned grapes. It should be at least a misdemeanor to open this wine anytime soon.
