Aromatic with bittersweet hedgerow fruit, cassis and rosehip. Very present and crisp and refreshing. This shows a little bit of tannic minerality through the finish, but is essentially a lively and vivid cuvée that offers up notes of orange peel, wild strawberry and rose. “It’s digest” says Caroline aptly. One of Santenay's most prestigious Premier Crus situated east of the village next to Chassagne-Montrachet. Rarely more than 100 cases of this incredible value red Burgundy are produced each year. Ageing is in used oak barriques.
