Santenay, Clos de Tavannes, 1er Cru, 2023

Small wild strawberry fruits, supple, gentle and digeste with some mineral grip on the finish. This is luminous and ripe yet also delicate and quite gentle. One of Santenay's most prestigious Premier Crus situated east of the village next to Chassagne-Montrachet. Rarely more than 100 cases of this fine red Burgundy are produced each year. Ageing is in used oak barriques.
