Le Montrachet, Grand Cru, Marquis de Laguiche, 2010
A Montrachet that comes from the Puligny side of the vineyard owned by the Laguiche family who, with two hectares, are the biggest proprietors. One of the great examples of this fabulous vineyard. A wonderful ripe, flowery nose with hints of sweet spice; incredibly unctuous but not heavy flavours of fresh ripe fruits, fruit blossom honey, white flowers and violets with a serious citrusy seam of fresh acidity prolonging the haunting finish. This simply melts in the mouth.
critic reviews
Vibrant layers of exotic fruit, smoke, spices, honey and licorice flesh out in the 2010 Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche. Simply put, the 2010 is rich, dense and strikingly beautiful from the very first taste. There is a deep sensuality and allure about the 2010 that are simply compelling. This is another fabulous showing from Drouhin.
