Quite a smart struck match note frames a combination of salt and fine, just ripe peach notes in this energetic, tear-drop shaped, old vine Auxey. Tastes a bit like a Meursault! Classy. A north-east facing vineyard of 70-year-old vines, on soils with more clay in them than found in Les Crais.?This is right on the limit with Meursault.
