A highly expressive nose, with sweet citrus, sweet smoke and bright salt crystals in high definition. Wonderful tension and gras to the flavours, this has both texture and drive as layers of lovely rippling ripe flavour wash across the palate. Very good! From three parcels within this fine, South-facing vineyard, perched at the top of a small hill adjacent to Corton and with similar white marne soils. One of Burgundy’s lesser-known gems.
