The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers 1er Cru is interesting to compare to the Bourgogne Côte d'Or, the stems here much more conspicuous and clearly requiring some bottle age to be subsumed. (Indeed, aeration does allow this to cohere.) The palate is medium-bodied with a stemmy opening, dark berry fruit mixed with stewed black tea and a dash of black pepper towards the finish. Patience required.
