Chorey Lès Beaune, La Piece du Chapitre, Monopole, 2019
Full, expressive and characterful, you get an extra depth and intensity of flavour here compared to the Bourgogne. Super generous and open soft fruit characteristics flood the palate. Easy but with solid foundations and an earthy complexity to it, as well as a warming, sunny touch of kirsch. Aged in a third new oak. Piece du Chapitre is a fine Chorey single parcel, a monopole of the Tollot Beaut estate, that is influenced by the Pernand valley.

The 2019 Chorey-lès-Beaune Pièce du Chapitre offers brambly black fruit on the nose, tinged with iodine and violet. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red berry fruit, showing more cohesion than the regular Village cru, and a savory finish.
