Gigondas, Cuvée de la Tour Sarrazine, 2018

Electrifying, belts and braces Gigondas. Explosive crisp red berry fruit with warming garrigue herb and sweet spice overtones. The fruit is lively, expressive and set in a big-framed structure. Brilliant but muscular and will require time in bottle. An unoaked blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre from rocky, late-ripening parcels high up in the Dentelles de Montmirail.
