The 2025 Riesling Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr Grosses Gewächs is from vines that were planted in the 1910s, 1930s and 1990s. Yellow peach and peach skin blend in with the slightest reductive smokiness. Juiciness washes over the palate with exquisite energy, with a swoop of freshness, while the svelte body gives this wonderful vibe of both slate and citrus zest. A lovely combination with so much elan on the surface and stoniness at the core. The finish is gorgeously salty. (Bone-dry)
