This does require a little coaxing out of the glass, before revealing very slatey and smoky mineral notes and some fresh orange zest. On the palate this is all Mosel, awash with sweet peach, nectarine, spun sugar, mirabelle and fresh apricot, a texture of pure silk and a ripe acidity so seamlessly fused with fruit. One could be forgiven for thinking this is ‘easy’ going it drinks so beautifully. However the flavours delivered are persistent, vital, vibrant and incredibly long. An elixir of the sweetest Mosel refinement.
