The more deluxe Pinot Noir, offering up a darker fruit base of plums and spice with some currants, a hint of toast, mint and quality barrique notes. More structure in the GG but freshness and complexity too. Fully destemmed and aged in second use François Frères and Taransaud Burgundy barrels for 20 months.

The 2023 Riesling Maximin Grünhäuser Herrenberg Grosses Gewächs shimmers with Reine Claude plum and a touch of smoke. The palate reveals a total lemon stretch with a beautifully zesty drive that is salty and vibrant, showcasing an energy not foretold on the nose. This wine is ripe, driven and yet so slender.
