Harvested at 125 oeschle on the 16th November 2007 when the temperature had plummeted to - 7 degrees , a mere 240 litres of this have been made. Carl von Schubert compares this to his 1993 eiswein, made from a significantly larger proportion of healthy less botrytised grapes than usual, this will leave you speechless. Wonderfully transparent green tinged colour so rare for wines of this intensity and sweetness, followed by an equally clear and brilliant palate, intense but not heavy or cloying, superb zesty flavours of salts orange, grapefruit, lemon rind, sherbert and acacia honey.
