Saarburger Rausch, Riesling, Spätlese, 2020

The Rausch Spätlese shows a more pronounced thyme note but also much more in the yellow fruit and tropical line – stone fruits, peach and then mango and passionfruit. There’s no botrytis in this at all but plenty of extra flesh and creaminess– a wash of ripe fruit that commands the long, brightly sustained finish.
