Etna Rosso, Moganazzi,

One of the great terroirs in the region and one of the largest of the northern slopes, Terre Nere had only previously been able to buy a small fillet of the vineyard. In 2017 the opportunity to expand arose and the single cru bottling was born. A 700m site with medium-deep stony soils, the vines average 70-90 years old. Composed of red fruits and spices, Moganazzi 2021 is complete with dark cherries, strawberry leaf, stones and herbs, delivered with a long and svelte wash of tannins and gloss. Somehow it seems to fuse the best elements of Guardiola and Santo Spirito to make a very attractive, all-round delicious package.
