Etna Rosso, Moganazzi, 2023

Sweet spices with a darker-fruited cassis and white pepper profile, Moganazzi is one of the great terroirs in the region and one of the largest of the northern slopes. Terre Nere had only previously been able to buy a small fillet of the vineyard. In 2017 the opportunity to expand arose and the single cru bottling was born. A 700m site with medium-deep stony soils, the vines average 70-90 years old.
