The 2019 Soave Classico La Froscà wafts up with honeyed florals, ground ginger and hints of smoke. This soothes with its silky textures, while nervous acidity enlivens the experience and adds a cascading sensation to its mineral-tinged orchard fruits. There’s so much concentration here. It leaves the palate caked in chalky minerals while finishing lightly structured. This zesty rendition of La Froscà will take some time to fully blossom, but it’s packed full of potential.
