Zippy and clean with a refreshing lime-like quality, the Bannockburn Chardonnay opens to reveal gentle white fruits, with a concentration that will support several years of upside development. Though, given it is this buoyant and enjoyable, why wait? Whole cluster pressed and settled naturally and fermented and aged in used oak barrels. New oak never exceeds 5%.

The 2024 Chardonnay Bannockburn has excellent clarity. It is delicately perfumed, subtle and focused with a fine texture. Restrained floral and citrus aromas join the merest touch of nutty oak, which complements the fruit. A line of bright acidity pervades through to the scented, savoury finish of medium length.
