Aalto offers a mix of lush vibrant fruits, deep-set cherry and toasty spice, coffee bean and silky floral tones. A pure Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from old vines (40-80 years old) across nine different subzones in the valley, it is aged in a combination of French and American oak, seeking a balance between the toast and texture of the former and the nuttiness and spice of the latter, bottled after 17 months in barrel.
