Mt Pajaro Vineyard, Chardonnay, 2020
justerini & brooks tasting note
Showing decidedly more focus than the appellation bottling, with a whisp of fine smoky oak, framing notes of lemongrass, salt, and finger lime. Great tension here on the palate, a fine mineral line and real persistence. Again, beautiful balance here, but there’s extra tension and a certain dry extract that brings a certain grip to the mid palate. This has grown up in recent years, has gained in mid palate weight.
