Bordeaux 2025: The JP Moueix stable

The Moueix family owns some outstanding real estate in Bordeaux, from the exceptional limestone côte of St Emilion to their numerous holdings on the Pomerol plateau. The 2025 line up is full of winners. La Fleur Petrus – gloriously understated, a wine of real depth and charm, Belair Monange – wonderfully ethereal and complex, brimming with limestone energy, Hosanna – exuberant and lavish, but perhaps in a more reserved style than other big vintages, and Lafleur Gazin – brimming with beautifully textured Merlot fruit – sure to be one of the best value buys from Pomerol.
