New Release – Domaine Weinbach 2024
“Weinbach is my favourite estate in the whole of Alsace.” - Matthew Jukes
Alsace is one of France’s most distinctive and versatile wine regions. Defined by an extraordinary range of varietally labelled wines, from finely etched aromatic whites to increasingly accomplished Pinot Noirs, the region has long been favoured by sommeliers for its natural affinity with food and an ability to age.
We are pleased to present the 2024 releases from Domaine Weinbach, one of Alsace’s great historic estates. Farmed biodynamically for over twenty years and based around the village of Kaysersberg, the domaine’s 29 hectares include exceptional holdings in the Grands Crus Schlossberg and Furstentum, as well as the limestone-rich Altenbourg.
The 2024 vintage is marked by freshness but with a notable poise and transparency. Naturally moderate alcohols that sit between 12-13% across the range are matched by bright acidities, polished textures and impressive clarity of site, delivering wines of balance and quiet confidence that will give considerable pleasure in the years ahead.
“2024 is a vintage we would happily forget from a stress perspective, but from a quality standpoint it may prove one of the most enjoyable of the decade.” - Eddy Leiber-Faller
With the exception of the Gewurztraminers, all the wines in this offer are fermented to dryness and represent some of the most distinctive, gastronomic and age-worthy wines Alsace has to offer.
To help guide your selection, we have prepared an accompanying 2024 brochure, which includes our tasting notes and relevant commentary. Please submit orders by 12pm on Friday 6th February 2026.
