Oestricher, Lenchen Rosengarten, Grosses Gewächs, 2018

An almost entirely enclosed vineyard surrounding the cellars and close to the Rhine, that always tends towards the more aromatic, floral end of the spectrum. The limestone soils in 2018 have produced a wine of aromatic rose leaning aromas, with sweet herbs and creamy exotic floral notes that lead to mango and ripe peach on the palate. There is so much to enjoy here.
