Pinots, Grand Cru, Furstentum, 2024

A Grand Cru blend dominated by Pinot Gris, with Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois, from the south-east facing marl and limestone soils of Furstentum. Aged for 14 months in a combination of concrete egg and used 600 and 228 litre barrels. Aromatically open, with white nectarine and apple blossom, followed by subtle notes of butter, salted nuts and white pepper. The palate is firm and textured, with a gentle honeyed, waxy feel that lends breadth and weight.
