The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Petite Chapelle is bright and pure, bursting with aromas of cherries, red berries and petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and melting palate with a cool core of fruit and a saline finish.
The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle 1er Cru is very backward and just a bit of a grump-bag on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with good concentration, yet tight and a little stoic at the moment. It will definitely come good, but it will require some time.
