Chambertin, Grand Cru, 2013

A ravishing wine. Floral but not too open-knit, there is plenty in reserve here. Fragrant, cool crushed red berry, cherry and damson flavours with an earthier more mineral background. Composed, defined and complete. Exemplary. From 70-year-old vines in the northern part of Chambertin where the wines tends to be particularly refined in style.
