Firm and brooding, great tension and depth of flavour here, immense stature and persistence, profiund fruit flavours with a deep, cooling minerality. Fruity with a touch of forest floor and undergrowth too. This will make a grand bottle indeed but needs time. From 70 year old vines in the Northern part of Chambertin where the wines tends to be particularly refined in style.
