Latricieres Chambertin, Grand Cru, 2013
justerini & brooks tasting note
Crunchy autumn raspberry, redcurrant and cherry fruit, mineral notes of dry stone and crushed rocks. Taut, tense but expansive on the finish. Stylish but serious Grand Cru. Four barrels were made. Latricières is a much cooler, windier terroir than Clos de la Roche, yielding wines that are often rather austere and reticent in its youth but blossoms with age.
