Show a bit more elevage as a result of the 25% new oak, but beneath that there’s a similar sense of balance to the Bellecroix, but clearly more density and depth of fruit. Brambly, with autumn raspberry highlights and the structure to handle a richer dish. ",

The 2024 Rully du Clos de Bellecroix Cuvée Marey comes from the 1.6-hectare parcel that faces east and is aged with 25% new oak barrel. This has fine lift on the nose: red cherries, wild strawberry and light rose petal scents that blossom in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded tannins, soft in texture, transparent with a slight tart finish. This will be difficult, nigh impossible to resist in its youth.
