Spice, rose petal and plum notes emerge with air but this is a tightly wound Les St Georges that is going to require some patience. As always, a totally different profile to Vaucrains, being a wine of breadth and texture, complex fruit and spice notes and impressive length. The great vineyard of Nuits, many people believe it should be elevated to Grand Cru status.
