Less immediately alluring than the Brûlées but there is something utterly captivating about this nonetheless. Intense and reserved at first but with some air the energy uncoils onto the palate with really vital, focused, mouth-watering flavours. Fresh wild forest and summer berry, dry stone, mineral and salt characteristics drive powerfully across the palate. High-pitched but with very solid foundations. One of the cooler, stonier vineyards of Vosne producing fine, silky, mineral wines.
