Less fleshy than the Brulees, more ethereal and red-fruited. Energising flavours of silky, bright minerally fruit skip across the palate. This has excitement and verve yet the tannins are very soft and welcoming. The flavours are beautifully transparent - notes of salt-flecked blueberry, tayberry and loganberry with a savoury dry stone note cleansing the back palate. So poised, lifting and stylish. One of the cooler, stonier vineyards of Vosne producing fine, silky mineral wines.
