Romanée St Vivant, Grand Cru, 2006

Frank has a gem of a parcel in this great but large Cru, situated between the vines of Arnoux and Romanee Conti. This is one of the very finest examples he has made, packed with ripe juicy, flavours of hawthorn, strawberries and cherries. Wonderfully binding, velvety tannins, long and very classy.
