Despite being a little taciturn at first, this wine’s qualities are immediately obvious with its incredibly silken texture. The beautiful satin-like tannins add both definition and gloss to the gradually expansive fruit. Lithe, juicy and with some gentle curves. Glorious, haunting flavours of cherry, loganberry and damson. Exquisite. A fine parcel of Romanée St Vivant located next to Arnoux and Cathiard.
