    Stylish creamy fruit, ripe crushed berry flavours mixed with gripping, enveloping tannins but smoothly textured, perfectly poised and balanced.

    Saturated, deep ruby-red. Liqueur-like black raspberry, blackberry and licorice aromas retain good freshness. Very large-scaled and dense, with superripe berry, licorice and chocolate flavors offering superb depth and sweetness. Perhaps a bit monolithic and powerful for a wine from this cellar, but obviously youthfully clenched today. The big tannins saturate the teeth. I'd put this away for a decade.
