Châteauneuf du Pape, Cuvée Felix, 2015

One of the most stunning and suave Felix cuvees we have tasted in years. Layered, smooth, dense but lifting. Long and polished yet as brim-full of personality as ever. Notes of kirsch, crème de mure, cherry and bramble mixed with savoury notes of pepper spice, herb, saddle and cigar leaf. An exemplary old vines cuvée aged in four-to-ten-year-old wooden barriques. A similar blend to the straight Châteauneuf with more Mourvèdre, 25%, and less Syrah.
