Côte Rôtie, Ampodium, 2024

As ever, the estate’s most important Ampodium cuvée offers layers of wild berries with supporting spice and a cooling, wiry and invigorating freshness. This is floral, transparent Syrah that will delight in the first few years. As ever a high proportion of whole-bunch fermentation was used to enhance aromatic lift and freshness. A blend of 15 lieux-dits from top-quality vineyards across the estate including Tupin and Viaillère, all fermented with whole bunches and aged in large demi-muid casks, a maximum of 10% of which are new.
