The most elegant, crumbly-slated, lightly reductive GG of the three; beautifully weighted with hints of creaminess and stone fruits. Golden accented lemons and orchard fruits – a luminous, caressing and super long Riesling. Stunning.

The 2025 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Grosses Gewächs shows a direct note of flint that for now takes over the nose. A wonderfully juicy palate ripples away with ease, equanimity and lightness, presenting a lemony-breezy surface. Underneath, however, that beautifully eternal stone just exudes saltiness and poise on its supple, citric body. A serene, clear-cut Sonnenuhr that illustrates what effortless elegance looks like.
