Lively, ripe citrus and essential oils with plenty of smoky, slatey notes. Grass, green tea and jasmine gradually make way for plenty of old-fashioned sweet peach and ripe green apple notes. All on the freshness and elegance right now. As one would hope, it has plenty of wound-up complex mineral and salty notes that will need time to unravel. A properly traditional, slate-rich Spätlese.
