Maximin Grünhauser Abtsberg, Riesling, Superior, 2020

A wine that is very close to the Von Schubert heart, the “Superior” benefits from the same selection quality and handling as the GGs but is left to ferment to a natural stop. Its typically animated character and seamless balance, being barely off-dry, makes it a wonderful wine for drinking with food. The 2020 has a lovely flow of bright lemon herbs, balsam and mint with supporting notes of violet, green tea and flowers.
