Bright with a lovely citric vibrancy, a core of balm-like fruit and gentle limestone stoniness and presence on the finish. Softer and more approachable than some recent vintages; it is tender and composed. Hailing from a parcel above the winery in Hohen-Sülzen, Kirchenstück is located within a relatively flat vineyard dominated by limestone and loess soils. The Grosse Lage section comprises only a small portion of the wider site.
