An intense wine of richness and power, it leads with ripe, polished strawberries, star anise, red cherry and mountain herbs. Pulpy and fleshy with great concentration and balsamic notes. Sarmassa is a clay-driven site and the vines here are ten years old. Aged for two years in barrique, just 900 magnums have been produced.
