The 2012 Tinto is a Baga aged for 12 months in used barrels (80% French, 20% American). It comes in at 12.8% alcohol. This is the 10-year library wine re-release, as Vadio likes to do. Beautifully done, this is aging perfectly. It shows some hints of maturity and complexity but also freshness. It's elegant and understated, the tannins generally resolved, but it drinks perfectly just now. It will probably hold for another decade nonetheless. Still, it is hard to imagine it getting much better, even if it is kicking in 2035. Your call, but this feels like a peak moment, even if nowhere near a last moment.
