Continuing our series highlighting great wines which are available by the loose bottle, we thought it would be interesting to pick out some examples where there are multiple vintages of the same wine on our list.

Beloved by passionate vinophiles, ‘vertical tastings’ are often both fascinating and a great way to learn. One strips out differences in wine-making and vineyard site and can instead really pick out the effects of mother nature across the years. That might sound a bit geeky, but when you only have to buy one bottle at a time why not explore a little and discover more about what you enjoy?
